Marching with Pride

It was Gay Pride Day in Liverpool.  There was real exuberance and spirit as the march wound its way through town. (I'm not even going to mention the rain.) It was nice to see that there several police actually in the march, with their Gay Pride Banners (see extra). This is the street where one of their members suffered a vicious homophobic attack in 2009.
