The Shibden Mill Inn has impressed judges at The Great British Pub Awards 2015 and been named as a finalist in the Best Freehouse Pub category.

The historic inn, owned by Simon and Caitlin Heaton, is now in with a chance of being crowned regional winner of Best Freehouse Pub for the Yorkshire, North East & Scotland region and being named national champion for the category at The Great British Pub Awards night on Thursday, 10 September at the London Hilton on Park Lane. The awards are organised by the Publican's Morning Advertiser
