If you go down to the woods today...

A long day at Longshaw today. I went early to have a wander before my car park duties and found a lovely spot on the edge of some woodland, where there seemed to be lots of birds , so I settled down for half an hour to watch.  I saw Nuthatches, Blue Tits, Goldfinches, Coal Tits, Treecreepers, Swallows, Great Tits, green Woodpecker and Great Spotted Woodpeckers more, and this sweet little Wren fledgling. I wanted to stay for longer but had to go and do my duties. I'm over there again later in the week so perhaps I'll get another chance.
