A cycle to Blackness Castle

After completing the John Muir Way, I always wanted to take Clare and the boys for a cycle to Blackness Castle.

It's a great pedal from South Queensferry and once you get to Hopetoun House , it's all off road and safe.

We decided to do it today - however Isaac could not join us as he was away on holiday.

The weather was good this morning and the cycle was enjoyed by all.

Off to friends for a barbie this afternoon however the weather took a turn for the worse so the great food and great company had to be enjoyed indoors!

Another great Scottish summer's day.
