Party

The managing company of the park we're at are marking 80 years of being in business, and to celebrate, they invited all the owners to a party!! As we were free, we went along.

I wondered what this "party" would be like... As we approached the office, I heard jazz music; well, not just jazz, but LIVE jazz and saw the double-bass player with his very cool silent bass. We went in and there were caterers who had made delicious sandwiches and dessert! Fantastic! We sat right in front of the band and enjoyed their music and tucked into the food and drink. Not too much though as I had to drive to Heathrow to return the hire car. Well, not just me, but G and Catherine too - so that we had a way to get back.

Stopped at Homebase to get some geraniums to plant in the shells of solar lights which no longer work... and it is the first of August. Yikes!
