By the seaside

We have arrived in Beadnell on the Northumberland coast, having set off from the other side this morning and stopping at Cragside on the way. Our cottage is lovely: Bailey can get out into the garden without us worrying about him and I can see the sea from my bedroom window. We headed out for a walk once we were unpacked and sort of settled, to get out bearings and found our way to the harbour with time only for a very quick iPhone shot - better blips to follow as the week goes on, I'm sure. We had tea and a pint in a very busy pub in the village and the first of the week's catch-ups with the little-big sister and the other blipper in the family. No firm plans made yet other than our arrangements for Sunday lunch and the rest of the week ahead of us.
