Mermaid's Purse

Its not a very exciting shot tonight.  I walked another stretch of beach a little way down our river still very beautiful, very quiet despite the beautiful evening.

I love the drift wood that is washed ashore here and as I sat on a large log bleached by our river I spotted these two mermaid's purses nestled in the cruck of the log, it seemed just a little different 

Shapes and textures, a product of the environment  and lovely to see
