Chimney Throw

The fellow on the roof was dismantling the chimney one brick at a time and tossing each one into the waiting, raised dumpster.  It was like watching a solo dance as each brick, in turn, flew to its final resting place trailing a comet tail of sun-lit dust. 
Wow, that's certainly a whole passel of mixed metaphors! Sorry.
