Georgetown

Washington is pleasantly surprising me!

The architecture is much more interesting than most other U.S. Cities we've visited, older and character filled.

Some great shopping too, spent most of the day exploring Georgetown where we stumbled on the steps from father Karras' death scene in the Exorcist.

The Metro system is an eye opener. Makes you realise just how good the Tube really is.

Also turns out our hotel is a bit of a party hotel. Luckily for us, Amelia and I slept through most of the noise. Julie has ear plugs for tonight...
