No Place For Old Birds

With the skiffs drawn well up the beach and the harbour full of chop, today was a day to avoid damage. Even the birds looked fed up as they were buffeted about by a freezing North Easterly. With few fish and chips or ice creams being consumed, the pickings must have been slim for our feathered friends. I wonder what high tide will bring, best ease off the moorings, turn up the heat and keep the sou'wester handy.
