Pippilongstock and I finally got around to seeing Northern Sinfonia performing their own version of the Last Night of the Proms at the Sage. It's fair to say it's not the diverse concert we've ever been to and we did get a fit of the giggles when the flag waving started, but the sound of the orchestra was sensational in my favourite buildings in the world. Now, will I dust off the violin and Pip open that trombone case?
