Mains Castle

Mrs F and I stopped off at East Kilbride on the way home to have a walk round the Loch in the James Hamilton Memorial Park.  This view over the Loch shows Mains Castle which is currently a private home.
 
Thought to have been built in the late 15th or early 16th century it has had a chequered history of falling into disrepair and then being restored again.
