Tiger Stripe

So, we went for a drive to Waimate today, and ended up in Wanaka, which is another 200km down the road.

It was great!

We traveled over the Lindis Pass, where I took this photograph at the summit.
We visited Mario's Sister, who lives not far from Wanaka, and came away with a huge bag of walnuts from her tree. 
Then on to Wanaka. 
We went to the supermarket there to get a drink, and every man and his dog was there! Apparently it's always like that during the ski season. The car park was full, so we had to park in the next block and walk.

The extra photo is of the Lake front at Wanaka, as the sun was going down.

It was good to just get in the car and drive, not knowing where we were heading to.

Thanks for the comments and favourites for yesterday's Boogle blip. As I write this, he's curled up on his woolly bed by the heatpump, which is his favourite place to be.
