Bush Cricket

Found on the outside of our kitchen door this morning!  Very noisy shot but the light was very low and I didn't want to go and fetch my tripod as the cricket would probably disappeared by the time I got back.   It is a Roesel's Bush Cricket  (Metrioptera roeselii) which are expanding their range - they used to be found only in the South of the country, but are spreading northwards. This is the first one I have seen here in Lincolnshire (although perhaps I haven't been looking/listening hard enough).
