Clock Tower

Backblipped for 13th June

Due to a minor brainstorm I elected to go out for my birthday dinner tonight, thereby completely missing the opportunity to nip down the road to watch the Olympic torch arrive in Edinburgh.

Instead my blip is the clock in West Linton, with its replica of a statue of Lady Gifford. The original was carved by her husband, a stonemason, in 1666.

Dinner was superb and I can maybe try to catch the torch as it leaves tomorrow.
