The day started at a slower pace today and another power cut so several of the things I needed to do, couldn't be done. I had to boil the water for my daily cup of tea on the gas cylinder. It's amazing what you take for granted.
Not feeling 100% today but managed to get on my bike and get to Isubilo. With the incentive of going for lunch with Hannah, Lizzie and Kristen, I got loads of work done in the morning. Three interviews down with three very interesting people. Also managed to get some malnutrition information from the clinic which will help my research!
The afternoon was spent eating, cycling, readying and sleeping. And we have a new housemate...Kristen! Freshly baked bread, warm American cookies and Milo were a great way to end the day! This picture is one of the avenues that I cycle down most days and it reminds me of home.
Psalm 139 was a real encouragement to me today. It reminds me of how He is in control. He knows when I stand up, knows my thoughts and watches over me even though I am far away. He goes before me and follows me. He places His hand of blessing on my head and where ever I am, His hand will guide me and His strength will support me.
