Miniature Roses

Only blipping could send a bod out into the garden to measure the average diameter of her miniature roses, just so that I could announce that these beautiful blooms are only one inch across.

I grew this miniature bush from a packet of seeds years and years ago, and still it flourishes. Earlier this year, I dug it out of its pot, weeded it thoroughly, replaced much of the soil with rose compost, and replanted it. My reward is this fantastic show of flowers; can't remember when they were so abundant! Gives me such a buzz!

So I'm posting some extras of it, too, on this warm and hazily sunny day!
