These are of the West Dean Estate and surrounding area.

This afternoon I plan to complete the sorting started yesterday but my rereading of Green Darkness by Anya Seaton (set in Medieval Midhurst) might supersede that...
(Wasn't entirely sure - cede or sede - the OED says sede which goes back to the 16th Century.)

LATER: in the event, both reading and sorting were ceded to other things...
