A super day

We were invited out by our very close friends Elaine and Brian to celebrate their anniversary with them.   They arranged a taxi to pick us up and take us to the Park Hotel.  The meal was superb and we were well and truly stuffed..  It was their treat and no presents should have changed hands but you cannot accept a meal out without giving something so we bought them a bottle of Grand Marnier.  We go to Madeira with them every January and most evenings have a Grand Marnier and Ice so it was appropriate.  KG did a picture of them (heavily photoshopped) which they loved.  This is my blip today and although most of it is KG's I contributed some as well.  Elaine  said on their 45th Anniversary that she wanted Diamonds - a year later she is still waiting!!
