Chester FPA v Wrexham FPA Bowls Match

Today was the annual bowls match between Chester Former Players and Wrexham Former Players at Christleton. Chester won the match 7-4 and took the Ian Moir Trophy which was dedicated to Ian who died in April and was a keen bowler who played for  both clubs.

As secretary of the Chester Former Players Association I was roped in to play despite the fact that I don't play bowls at all except in this event. Astonishingly I won my game 21-3.

Today's blip features the two teams (minus me) with Wrexham looking smart in their away kit. We will have to get shirts for next season.
