Stage two - Blackcurrant Jelly
Finally got round to stripping my two wee blackcurrant bushes of their fruit today. Just under a kilo, not bad at all.
Spent the afternoon boiling up the fruit and then set it up to strain to make a beautifully smooth and clear blackcurrant jelly - our favourite.
It was as I was searching for poles to balance between the stools that I wondered how other people strain their jelly, am I missing some basic piece of equipment, or is this the sort of contraption everyone uses?
