Tying up the cucumbers

The weather forecast was for rain pretty much all day but in fact the rain never materialised so TheChimp and I were able to spend some time in the garden.

We had a tipper load of firewood delivered the week before we went on holiday but didn't have time to put it away in the woodshed and left it covered with a tarpaulin. This afternoon we got round to stacking the wood in the shed but in the meantime several frogs had taken up residence in amongst the rainwater and the logs. TheChimp tried to catch them so we could put them in a safer place. He put them in a bucket but they kept trying to jump out. Anyway we eventually managed to move them close to our pond which is a much nicer place than a bit of old tarpaulin
