Wedding day

After arriving back in the country from Spain on Thursday night, we travelled from Cardiff to Kent today for the wedding of my wife's nephew, Philip, and his fiancee Jess.

The journey was long and arduous, but the rest of the day made up for it. We had a lovely time in a part of the world I haven't visited since I was a child.

The wedding was in a rural setting near the town of Tenterden. The venue was actually a working farm, with the ceremony held in a gazebo on an island on a lake. The reception was in a nearby barn.

The sun shone on a day filled with smiles.
