Birthday cake!

After a busy morning walking the dog, shopping and having lunch out, my granddaughter and I went into the kitchen to decorate the cake which I had made for her mother's birthday. We made two different icings, and then the real fun began as we opened the packet of Maltesers and chocolate stars - a little tasting and bowl scraping went on!  The flower candles were then added, and a little later lit up as we carried the cake in for tea, singing Happy Birthday!
