This time last week we were on top of Bohuntin Hill looking down to this Upper Inverroy forest track. Today we were looking at the skyline of the same little mountain and could just make out the summit cairn.
We couldn't be so adventurous today because the Asda shopping was due at two pm. On our return from this walk at, about 12.30, Mrs SJR got a call from Asda to say our particular delivery van was broken down again and our shopping, including dinner for tonight wasn't coming. You wouldn't believe the number of Roy Bridge Asda customers who get let down like this. Sometimes the van just doesn't turn up at all, you phone the overseas call centre and after 30 minutes you speak to someone who tells you immediately the delivery is imminent. You phone back in another hour (call queue again) and this time they say the store will phone back directly and you are finally advised that the van is now homeward bound still with our food on board and with no intention of doing the delivery.
