Family outing

The advantage of Mike having kept his old bike and bought a new one too is that including the bakfiets we now have four adult bikes available. So after a bit of saddle adjusting we set off for a family bike ride up the little hill to Wandlebury for a lovely wander round the ring ditch and the gardens and the woods. Gorgeous weather and some impressively sweet blackberries plus lots of damselflies and an enormous dragonfly at the pond. Cycling back down the hill again we had a nice lunch and potter round scotsdales before heading home for a cuppa and chocolate cake before it was time for Matthew to say bye bye and have his nap and then for granny and grandad to head home. A long drive for a short visit but it was lovely to see them.
