Luggie's Knowe

It's been a stunning day of sunshine and warmth, a proper summer day :)

I had a right lazy morning today, ended up going out and drinks with friends for a birthday
A fine walk with Sammy soon helped to clear the head before getting on with chores.
I went to Scalloway in the afternoon before I went to pick up my niece Megan.  Me and Megan went for a peerie drive about the place before I dropped her home.
This evening I've been to the Phu Siam Thai restaurant for a leaving doo, Paul is leaving work at the museum and will be a miss to the team.  Note to self, don't leave camera alone with work colleagues, too many strange random photos :)
Quick walkies again with Sammy before heading to bed :)

Me and Megan went for a run to Breiwick at the back of Tingwall to have a look at the new wind turbine going up at Luggie's Knowe.  It's a massive structure and think it must be the tallest man made structure in Shetland but will be dwarfed by Viking Energy turbines.  I don't like turbines but "They" say they are good for energy.  But they must do a lot of damage to the ground, making way for the concrete and clearing of ground.  Taken from Croonigarth and looking onto Luggie's Knowe.
