Hummingbird

This is my first hummingbird.  He is a little far away from me - but still recognizable.  One day I will catch him flying and in focus but today I caught him in the tree.

He is hanging out up there -guarding the feeder from the hummer next door - and maybe watching me on the deck.  It's really fun watching them fight and trying to figure out how to catch them.

Mom is here until Tuesday  - we've had a lovely visit.  Today we rode our bikes to the end of the trail and back.
