Jackdaw

Another member of the Crow family, this is the Jackdaw. A very intelligent, inquisitive bird, with lots of character & those distinctive (rather like a Husky) ice blue eyes, although this is a juvenile bird and the eyes will loose the icey blue for light grey later. In the adult bird the grey cap will be more distinctive against the rest of the black feathers. A very social bird and about the size of a Jay, so not anywhere near as big as a Crow.
