Revision - Day 18

Started panicking this morning as I had so many errands to run, including taking the cat to the vet, that I knew I would have very little time for any more substantial revision. Listening to the local news in the car on the way into Crawley this morning, though, couldn't belieeeeeeeeve it when I heard that THERE'D BEEN A FIRE AT MY EXAM VENUE LAST NIGHT!

I think it was fairly minor (well, I could see the building from the car park and it's still standing!) and no-one was hurt (just several disgruntled guests who'd been evacuated in the early hours, I suppose! Edit: Should probably add it's a hotel...) so I'm assuming it's all still on as scheduled but I tell you what, I've been laughing about it all day! I mean, you couldn't make it up, could you?!?

Did go so far as to bring some notes to read during my daughter's swimming lesson but nipped out to the pond next to the leisure centre instead. Spotted thirteen little ducklings and saw that the goslings had really grown since I last saw them three weeks ago.
