Senseless

Goodness alone knows what leads people to commit such senseless acts as dumping these enormous rolls in fields. I'll bet the farmers are fuming!

Saw these while I was on my way to Oare Marshes - the trees in the background are on the exotic Ilse de Sheppey. Because we're into the school holidays Kent Wildlife Trust had the big guns out today. Dunlin, Ringed Plovers, Golden Plovers, Lapwings, more Avocets than you could shake a sharpened stick at, half a dozen Egrets and a similar number of Herons which loped in for a while and then sauntered off again, a few Ruffs, wall-to-wall Godwits, a couple of flavours of Gull, Teal, Whimbrel and Mallards and others.
