Islay

Arrived last night on the evening ferry.

Drove to Kilchoman and had breakfast followed by a long walk on the beach. Semi-Q and her Dad were taking some measurements and looking at 'long shore drift' and stuff like that while Mum and I strolled along. Geography project coming up! I was asked to take several photos - 'don't try anything arty Mum, just take the picture' was the message!

We bumped into Mr Q's sisters on the beach and had a good chat. Coffee and toasties at Debbie's in Bruichladdich and then home again for a wee rest before tea.

It's been a beautiful day today but pretty windy.
