Sedge Warbler

Another glorious day, with temperatures in the 20'!! Wonderful! Spent a lot of the day chasing birds and dragons.
These are incredibly difficult birds to photograph as they are so shy and live in dense reed beds. However, this young one didn't quite get it right as it followed me round. Still not easy to focus as they are very fast.
The extra is a Common Hawker female who had just spent twenty minutes laying and is taking a well earned rest in the tree. She had been hounded by a belligerent Four Spotted Chaser, who was making it quite clear it was his pond. Have never seen them chase Hawkers, which are twice their size!
