In the pink

A rather late post for this one ... but more about that later.

I broke this flower head off an Osteospermum (African or Cape Daisy) when I potted it out over the weekend. The shot was taken by plonking placing it on the glass top of my cooker, and back lighting with a table lamp plus a bit of flash.

My iPad app, Photogene, has made a reasonable job of editing but the white balance needs adjusting at the minimum, and I really wanted to load the shots into Lightroom and possibly photoshop elements to edit. However, there was an issue - one of my desktop PC monitors died, and by the time I had proved it was really dead I had run out of "play" time.

So for now the iPad version will have to suffice
