Photoshopping. Detail therapy?

I'm not convinced. After the girl had breakfast she asked to go back on Photoshop, so I set her up and went off to get my shower. Which was interrupted by her (very politely) asking for help. She'd tried to use the spot healing brush to remove the background and had succeeded in replicated her face in the top left hand corner, Teletubby style. I managed to fix it, outline her and her friend. add a layer of colour to provide a background, and off she went again. Inspired by the movie Inside Out she added a table with Joy the emotion talking to both her and her friend.

I got the laptop back in time to rough out an OCA exercise and have another go at the Pixel Painting exercise. Inspired myself by the girl's enthusiasm, I'm merging two photos then adding details via Paintshop, clipart, and whatever I can do to pixels that won't trash the whole thing (that's the problem right there, I expect to fail at Photoshop, whereas the girl correctly assumes that it's there to support her creativity rather than to frustrate) The background is a blip from Heligan Gardens in April. The foreground is selected from a Centre Parcs holiday photo. The blip is a photo of the screen, I have run out of day and creativity to do anything more interesting. Fortunately for you, the photos of the cat were terrible.
