Ragwort slaughtering

I had a fun day today searching for these little yellow chappies. You can read a lot of nonsense about how lethal they are, poisoning strapping hikers with a single swipe. They are, however, very invasive and harmful to cattle, horses etc. if ingested when seeding. We remove them unless they are sheltering the cinnabar moth caterpilars, which only survive on these plants.
