Lines Learned

Day 1 of working all week helping a theatre school out with their technicals and lights. Easy job until the end of the week when it all starts heating up, but had a good chance to see what it's all about today.

Both the little'uns are taking part, and Joe is super chuffed to have got a decent role, so tonight has been spent with him working through his lines and trying out his best cowboy accents. (Which is good because it's a comedy western musical. It would sound a bit daft otherwise).

The best bit about is there is a character based on good old Dr. Spooner, who invented my favourite type of joke, including the theatre classic "Just this way madam, and I'll sew you to your sheets.'

And on that note, I'm drying for a dink. Kettles on. Toodlepip.
