Solar activity

Huge sunspot 1504 looking tremendous on a setting sun tonight, lots of active regions visible just now. 1504 produced a big M class flare yesterday so aurora potential over the next day or so. I really must get me a hydrogen alpha scope, getting quite into the solar thing. The sunspots were clearly visible with the naked eye through a 10 stop filter tonight too. Seriously awesome.
