The Elite

Every two years Scotland hosts a 6 day orienteering festival and this year the  "World Orienteering Championships are taking place at the same time.  Today I plodded round my course in the woods and then went to watch the world's elite racing round the streets of Forres. This is Murray Strain the second fastest GB runner. The camera man crouching down is about to leap up and record him leaping up the steps
