On Bended Knee

My nephew Kris and his long suffering girlfriend Lynn have been visiting with us for a couple of days.  Today the sun shone and we had a wine in the garden ( on a school night) but hey...the sun was shining!

After tea Lynn, Kris and I took the dogs for a bimble.  On the way we picked wild cherries off the trees and had a bit of a giggle. We headed up to the tree lined avenue.  Kris asked me to take a photo of him and Lynn. Naturally, I was happy to oblige!  And then......he got down on one knee and popped the question!  I wasn't expecting that!  

Little Lynn shed a few happy tears and we all had a wee hug!  

Huge congrats to them both!  They make a lovely couple xx
