Up with the ... hummer

This is the little chap that wakes me at an ungodly hour every day - taken from miles away, but no other photos to post, so here he is, displaying his forked tail.

For the first time, I found HH lying flat out, fast asleep, covered with sheet and blanket and looking comfortable, despite the ever-present tubes. He was pretty sleepy throughout my visit, so had a lot of foot tickling and neck massage, but the (otherwise rather uncommunicative) doctor said he was having his best day so far. So who am I to argue?
