Playing With the Dolphins

Haven't seen any work from the Sand Guy for awhile, so it was nice to find this sculpture on the beach this morning. When it's overcast, the colors seem to be from a 50s postcard, muted and soft. Plus we saw real dolphins in the ocean as we walked, very very close to shore. I tried keeping pace with them for awhile in order to get a photo, but they move a lot faster than I do. I finally settled for simply standing there and watching them flip out of the water. They always remind me of one of those rotating dials in pop-up books, keep spinning it and the fin will appear, over and over again. I would like to hug a dolphin. wouldn't you?
