Coming Home . . .

This salad made me feel like we were really home. While we were on Wolfe Island we found lettuce and tomato at Fargo's General Store, and oh yes! strawberries too. But not any asparagus or salmon (cooked the night before) or avocado . . . This is a signature salad that Steve & I like to make for dinner the night after we have baked Salmon as an entree. We buy a little extra just for this and cook it at the same time. It is so delicious, we must have it every week! So having this salad again, it truly felt like coming home.
