Yes, Women are Persons!

 

On October18, 1929 the Privy Council concluded:

 “…that the word ‘persons’ in Section 24 of the British North America Act, 1867 includes members of both the male and female sex…”

The ‘Persons’ Case was a landmark victory in Canadian constitutional law.

Its triumph symbolizes the equality and the importance of the contributions of both women and men as nation builders.

Fortunately no longer an issue in our western world; Women Are Persons!
