Crawling in a tunnel..

..was not even the most exciting thing to happen today :-)

We went to Walton Hall and Gardens in Warrington.  It was so lovely.  There was a wetnic, land train, park, children's zoo and cafe all to be enjoyed.

And there was the small matter of a shield bug on my collar in the car, a brief lane swerve and ultimate relocation of said bug in a bush :-)

Plus a hedgehog in the road, rescued by No.2 son, myself and a peculiar assortment of neighbours.  Think: shuffly old lady with shovel, man in 4x4 and clueless teenager on bike.  Quite the motley crew.  Much fun :-)
