Waking up

An early morning shot of the buffalo before they are up and about as I have a busy day today (including still having 400 pages of my library book to read for the reading group tomorrow!).

An extra picture taken late yesterday afternoon of the young chick with her mother - she is becoming much more independent now, and the mother isn't as protective of her (or him, but we hope it is her).
