Looking towards Keswick

After getting through a number of the jobs required when you get back from being away we needed to pop out.  We had the laundry to collect from the Lady who had cleaned the Lodge while we were away.

Once we were in the car we decided that after collecting the laundry we would take a short detour to do some blipping.  So here we have a shot looking down the valley towards Keswick.

For those who know the area it is taken from the "old road" the road which used to carry all the traffic to West Cumbria until the A66 was built in the 70s.  I always look at it and marvel at how it ever coped.
