NOT A BIRD

We went South to see the rare Red-footed Falcon near Stoke on Trent this morning, then ended up going North to Carlisle to see the rare Bee-eaters. A bit of a round trip but well worth it.

This was taken at the quarry where the Bee-eaters are nesting. The birds were too far away for a photo. Extra one is a bit of a fuzzy Red-footed Falcon.
