What a Difference...
... a Film Crew make.
They are filming a new version of "Swallows and Amazons" for the BBC, and part of it is being filmed on location in Heptonstall (Nr. Hebden Bridge).
Today was the last day and most of the filming was being done indoors, but these two blips show how they change things.
The village Post Office (shown as normal in the lower blip) was transformed into a Ship Chandlery with brass navigational items in the window. Even the notices in the frame outside had been changed to reflect the setting of the book (i.e. the Lake District)
We didn't see any filming outside, but one of the actors seemed to like Polly dog (see extras).
