In the dog house

We had a lovely day today though now I'm rather sleepy so I'm having to record my favourite programme "This Week" especially as it has another favourite, Eddie Mair of Radio Four's P.M., on it. Anyway we went to Ightham Mote, house and gardens. The stone part dates from 1330 and the half timbered section from 1480 and it has had the most money spent on on it of any NT property - £10 million. In the Courtyard stands the only Grade One listed dog kennel in the country though it dates from the C19th not the Middle Ages.
